The Move and Select tool is used to select one or more objects in the workspace, and also allows them to be moved:
Select a single object
Left-click an object to select it:
Select multiple objects
Either:
Press
CTRLorSHIFTand left-click one or more objects; orLeft-click and drag a box around multiple objects
Move objects
Left-click and drag selected objects to move them:
Clear the selection
Right-click anywhere to deselect any selected objects.
Limit the type of objects that can be selected
To prevent accidental and unwanted selections, you can prevent certain types of objects from being selected.
Clear the current selection by right-clicking, and on the Move and select properties tab select the types of objects that can be selected:
