This release introduces a searchable tab menu for quickly accessing workspace tools, and a new Pan and Select mode for intuitive scene navigation.
Tab menu
Previously, adding a tab involved reading through columns of tools and report titles. A new searchable menu makes it simple to add new tabs and surface existing ones already in the workspace.
Press the + button on any panel, or press Ctrl+K (Windows) / ⌘K (Mac) to launch the tab menu.
Start typing to immediately filter results by search query.
Pressing Enter opens the first selected item (keep typing to narrow results).
Pressing Esc closes the menu.
Pan and Select tool
A new Pan and Select tool provides a simple way to navigate and interact with the scene without switching between separate pan and select modes.
With Pan and Select active:
Left-click and drag on empty space to pan the scene
Single left-click on an object to select it
Ctrl+click or Shift+click to add to the selection
Alt/Option + drag to draw a box selection
Right-click to clear the selection
Right-click and drag to rotate the camera
Pan and Select is grouped with the existing Move and Select tool. Long-press (or right-click) the toolbar button to switch between them, or press G to activate it directly.
