Add Datasets from your organization to a project to display, interact with, and analyse Network Models, point clouds, imagery, and other other geospatial data in the project's views and Reports.
There are two ways to add a Dataset to a project.
All Datasets added to a project are listed on the Layers panel
For performance reasons, data contained in Datasets added to a project are not automatically loaded into the Perspective, other views, Geodata Data Tables, and Reports when a Dataset is added to a project, or the project is re-opened.
See: Load and view data from Datasets for more information
Use the Datasets tool
Click the Datasets tool on the toolbar:
and then click the Add Dataset option in the properties panel in the sidebar:
A popup shows a list of datasets available in the organization. Click the Show link on a dataset to zoom to it in the Map view:
Clicking into the area on the map will display a list of the datasets available, ready for to select one or more datasets to load into the project. You can increase or decrease the size of that area with the Import Radius option.
Use the Layers panel
Click the (+) icon at the end of any group of tabs, and on the popup select Layers to open the Layers panel.
Click Add Datasets on that panel:
A popup shows a list of datasets available in the organization. Click the Show link on a dataset to zoom to it in the Map view, and use the Filter option to limit the list of Datasets to those visible in the Map view:
Select one or more Datasets using the checkboxes, and click the Add [x] datasets button to add them to the project:

Considerations
When importing Network Model datasets we recommend importing any related Point Cloud data at the same time, to ensure that the ground level is set correctly.
Importing two different Point Cloud Datasets is supported. However if the any of the Point Cloud Datasets contain data with different EPSG codes, Neara will display an error message if it cannot determine which EPSG code to use for the project.
When importing a Network Model dataset, a new model will be created based on the design template that was used to create that Dataset. Ensure that you have saved your current project to avoid losing changes.
