You can save a project, with its settings and more, as a model file that can be used as a template to use as a quick-start on other projects.
The configuration options that you can modify and save in a model file include:
Clearance requirements: Neara helps you measure the ground clearance of the powerlines in your design under different environmental conditions. see Measuring ground clearance
Environments: pre-defined, customisable sets of environmental variables to apply in network model calculations, such as blowout or clearance measurement. See Set up and use Environments
Libraries: where you define your poles, conductors, assemblies, components, mid-cable objects, regions, and soil layers. See Set up and use Libraries
Export a model file
A template is a model file that can be loaded each time a new design is created, so that custom libraries, environment settings and clearance rules can be saved and used without having to create them each time.
Once your project is configured the way you need it to be used as a template, choose Project / Export to model file from the menu.
This will generate and download a Neara .power file that you can save to your device, or share with another user.
